This morning I was at the railway station to pick up my cousin who was arriving from a place called Sijaris. The scheduled arrival was 7am so I was there at just about the same time.
The announcement board flashed that the train was running about half an hour late.
I strolled towards the tea vendor and asked for a mild black tea. I paid the tea guy and left that place. As I was sipping my tea, I stumbled - i don't know how - and all my tea spilled on woman who was walking in my direction! I suddenly mumbled sorry words. She was a forty something woman, about 5'7" tall and was accompanied with a 10-12 year old kid who appeared to be her son. She had a calm face and quite unexpectedly was neither angry nor irritated. Instead she said thats alright and gave a warm smile. Unhurriedly she took out a napkin from her purse and wiped off the tea. She looked at me, again gave a warm smile, said good bye and left the place. Instead of being disturbed, I was left with a sense of peace.
(PS: the above is fictional)
